So I am here in Changi airport waiting for my flight back to Malaysia. So far so good. The Perth to Singapore flight was delayed for nearly an hour which kinda worked in my favour. The exhausting long wait KOed me straight away on the plane. I slept through the whole flight. Also in Singapore, I do not have to wait too long for my connecting flight.
I cannot believe that it is 2 years since I left Malaysia. Funny how it seems that every time I go back to Malaysia I have to attend a wedding. This time my cousin's wedding.
Alright, time to make a move to my gate. Need to catch my last transit flight to Bolehland where all my hard earn Aussie dollars makes me a millionaire straight away.
On that note, I cannnot believed that I just had a milo for $S1.20!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE! I love the cheapness of food in South East Asia!
My 5 cents:
I can smell my mamak stores!!! (and the cigarette smell that comes with it too)

Unconscious Stress
After my job interview at Northam, I crash and burn for nearly 2 days. Aching back, stuff nose, migraine, diziness.
I was all OK during the interview. I could joke and laugh. The inteview went great!
I guess there was just too much unconscious strain over the past few days, with work, church, photography, christmast, job interviews. My body could not take it.
I am looking forward for the long Christmas holiday break.
I am typing this blog while waiting for my First Aid course to start. Hopefully they won't have to apply first aid to me instead.
My 5 cents:
9 days to Christmas

My 5 Cents: 5 Hours + A Quokka to Fight
I have got a full day ahead of me. Five clients back to back- the longest I have ever done without a break. Whatmore recently I have a habit of going over time with my clients.
I will try to keep things spot on or else I will not have time to fight Mr. Quokka for his dinner tonight.

My 5 cents:
Shot taken at Rottnest.

Mr. Koala's Request
There has been a slight change of my plans. I will not be going back to Malaysia during Christmas this year.
The plane tickets are too expensive and Mr Koala wants me to stay in Perth to celebrate Christmas and New Year's day with him and his fury little friends.
So for those wanting to meet me at the end of this year. I think you need to call in a rain check.
I will be coming back in January instead.
My 5 cents:
Technically there are no wild Koala's in Western Australia

Going with the Rorschach
I am trying to do the impossible. I am learning the ever so popular Rorschach testing technique under 5 months.
I am familiar with drawing analysis testing, thematic apperception test and children apperception test. and I thought it would be wonderful if I could bring it one step futher and learn the rorschach technique.
The test measures personalities chracteristics and emotional functioning. Something that strikes close to my own beliefs, believing more of the "how" and "why" than the physical content.
Normal Rorschach students take years to master it. I am going to try to master it in five months. Afterall I am Chinese and rote learning is my ally!
The tester needs to be familiar with the symbols of the Rorschach test. There are nearly 50 over symbols that need to be memorised (Welcome Chinese rote learning gene!). The more familiar you are with the symbols the better you are at doing the assessment as the assessment is based on the subjectivity of the interpretation.
There are several kinds of scoring methods for the Rorschach. I am learning the Klopfer's technique of scoring which is unfortunately the lesser popular scoring technique. This means that I have lesser resources to learn from, making my learning harder.
But if I could learn all this under 5 months before my 2 years supervision is over, I believe I would be one of the few young psychologist who actually knows how to score and interprate it.
Come on rote learning gene!
My 5 cents:
No pretty butterflies!
